This website collects nothing
esimgb.com is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising tag and no session identifier.
The only thing stored on your device is your currency preference (EUR, USD, GBP or RON), kept in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit. It never leaves your device and identifies nobody.
Product images are loaded from Shopify's content delivery network, and the buy buttons and the WhatsApp button link out to gb.ro and to WhatsApp. Those services see the request when you follow such a link, under their own policies.
What we collect when you buy
The purchase happens on gb.ro. To deliver an eSIM and issue an invoice we process: your email address, your name and billing details, the order and the plan you bought, and the technical identifiers of the eSIM issued to you.

Why we are allowed to
Performance of the contract: we cannot deliver an eSIM or support it without your email and the eSIM identifiers.
Legal obligation: invoices are kept because Romanian tax law requires it.
Who else sees it
Our upstream eSIM operator, which issues the eSIM profile.
Our invoicing provider, which issues the fiscal invoice and files it electronically.
Our email provider, to deliver the eSIM and the guide.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Contact details and eSIM identifiers: 24 months after the eSIM expires. After that we anonymise them — the contact is replaced by a one-way hash and the phone identifier is deleted. This period exists because an installed eSIM can be topped up later, which is the service you would come back for.
Invoices: 10 years, because Romanian law requires it. This is a legal obligation and is not affected by a deletion request.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy in a portable format. Write to info@gb.ro and we will act on it.
A deletion request is honoured immediately by anonymising your records, except for invoices, which we are legally required to keep.
You may also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP).
