Refunds and withdrawal

A delivered eSIM cannot be returned. Here is exactly why, and what we do when something genuinely goes wrong.

Last updated: 25 July 2026 · This describes how we actually operate. It is not legal advice.

The statutory right, and how it is lost

As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving a reason.

For digital content delivered immediately, that right is lost once delivery has started — but only if you expressly asked for immediate delivery and acknowledged that you would lose the right. You are asked to confirm this at checkout.

If that confirmation was not obtained from you, the 14-day right still applies and we will honour it.

Why a delivered eSIM cannot be taken back

An eSIM is issued as a unique activation code. Once it has been sent to you, it cannot be recalled, resold or reused by anyone else — the cost is incurred the moment it is created. This is standard across the industry, not a policy we invented.

When we do refund

If we never delivered the eSIM, or delivered a plan other than the one you bought, you get a full refund.

If the eSIM cannot be installed because of a fault on our side or the operator's, and we cannot fix it, you get a full refund.

If the plan is genuinely not usable in the destination it was sold for, we refund it. Write to us and we will check the case with the operator.

When we do not refund

A change of travel plans after the eSIM was delivered.

Data used up before the end of the validity period, or a speed lower than you hoped for in a specific location. We do not promise speeds or coverage.
